Job summary

ONxpress Transportation Partners Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer - Civil to support the CTO within the CJV team. The role interfaces between design management and field construction across major civils sites, ensuring design intent, safety, and constructability are maintained on site.

The successful candidate will review drawings, manage ITPs/RFIs, andCoordinate with designers and third-party temporary works teams. A P.Eng. and 12+ years in heavy civil projects are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with PEO registration.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive civil engineering and construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Review design deliverables for completeness, code compliance, and coordination.
• Perform first-level review of ITPs, RFIs, site instructions, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with designers to resolve discrepancies and support value engineering.
• Review temporary works designs for safety and constructability.
• Provide constructability input on erection procedures and sequencing.
• Support planning of heavy lift operations and site logistics.
• Provide on-site technical support across multiple sites and review site conditions.
• Deliver technical briefings on design requirements and safety limits.
• Contribute to method statements and construction staging plans.
