Job summary

Join WSP in Canada as a Senior Civil Engineering Technologist/Technician to help deliver municipal infrastructure from concept to construction. You will prepare conceptual and detailed layouts, produce drawings and 3D models, and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

This role involves estimating quantities, supervising construction inspections, and mentoring junior staff, with opportunities across water, sanitary, stormwater, roads, and site services projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering Technician from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil municipal design, drafting, and design support, with senior-level candidates preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including preparation of civil engineering drawings and design deliverables.
• Experience with the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects, including water, sanitary, stormwater, roadways, grading, and site servicing projects.
• Ability to support design activities, coordinate project deliverables, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Experience with Department of Municipal and Community Affairs standards would be considered an asset.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $77,400 - $102,500

MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
