Job description
As a Senior Civil Engineer I/II, you will:
Develop project designs by evaluating project constraints, site conditions, project goals, agency requirements, and engineering best practices
Support construction administration efforts, including RFIs, submittals, and construction changes
Train and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff
Prepare technical reports and perform complex calculations related to hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, stormwater detention, and utility sizing
Complete complex grading designs and earthwork calculations
Deliver high-quality engineering work products, including full QA/QC reviews and completeness checks, for internal and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited four-year institution
5–7 years of experience, depending on prior land development design experience
At least 2 years of independently solving complex engineering problems in land development
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land Development Desktop (LDD), and/or Civil 3D
A motivated, curious problem-solver who works well both independently and collaboratively
