Job summary

INSITE is seeking a Senior Project Manager & Civil Engineer to lead land development and municipal infrastructure projects. You will report to the Company Owner, drive client relationships, and guide project execution with technical oversight to uphold the firm’s integrity.

The role requires a PEO-licensed engineer with 10+ years in municipal design, proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Valid engineering licence with PEO.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for work travel.
• Minimum of 10 years in municipal infrastructure design and land development projects.
• Solid background in design with strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead team performance and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with consultants, clients, and approval agencies.
• Deliver engineering analyses, drawings and construction certifications.
• Prepare tender documents and construction contracts.

Job description

The Senior Project Manager & Civil Engineer serves as a key leader within INSITE, responsible for delivery of land development and municipal infrastructure projects. The position reports directly to the Company Owner and contributes to client relationship development and strategic initiatives. By leading client engagements, managing project execution, and providing technical oversight, this role increases the firm’s capacity to deliver multiple projects while maintaining the company’s high standard of integrity.

The following qualifications and criteria are required:

• Hold a valid engineering licence with PEO.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to vehicle as needed for work travel.
• Have a minimum of 10 years working experience in the field of municipal infrastructure design and land development projects, including:
  • lot grading design and earthworks, storm drainage, stormwater management systems and servicing for storm, sanitary, and water.
  • preparation of civil engineering design drawings and reports.
  • preparation of documents required during tender and construction phases.
• Have a solid background in design and a strong understanding of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
