Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Transportation Field Services team in Brandon, MB or Winnipeg, MB. You will lead highway and transportation projects, guide multidisciplinary teams, and collaborate with clients and authorities to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.

Key duties include design leadership, proposal support, and participation in business development while enjoying flexible hours and hybrid work arrangements to balance work and life.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Manitoba, or eligible to be licensed within six (6) months.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on highway and transportation infrastructure projects within Dillon’s Highways & Bridges Practice.
• Contribute to design, tender preparation, and contract/construction administration as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Support or lead design elements for highways, interchanges, arterial roadways, and related facilities.
• Coordinate construction-phase services including construction liaison and observing, where applicable.
• Engage with clients, agencies, utilities, municipalities and other stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of municipal standards and provincial regulatory requirements.
