Due to growth, we are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer based in any of our GTA offices. This role is key to developing GHD's Civil practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with Business Leads, Managers, and Project Directors on civil design for linear infrastructure
• Managing all aspects of civil design and responsible for the design process
• Developing or verifying technical scope
• Completing designs within budget and schedule
• Participating in design meetings and addressing critical issues
• Working with engineering teams for decision-making
• Ensuring client requirements, standards, and specifications are met
• Following quality control processes
• Mentoring junior staff
• Representing GHD in client meetings

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil design, particularly for complex multi-discipline projects and linear infrastructure, with the ability to evaluate and apply engineering techniques independently.

Qualifications include:

• B.Sc. in civil engineering
• PEO license (Professional Engineer)
• At least 10 years of technical design experience
• Proven experience in large-scale civil and infrastructure projects
• Experience in Design Build projects
• Knowledge of local codes and standards
• Experience in an integrated 3D environment
• Strong team-building and mentoring skills
