We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Building Restoration Group. This position will serve existing and future clients in the north central Ontario market. As a project manager, you’ll assist our team in providing high-quality engineering solutions, including concrete and masonry restoration, roof replacement, building condition evaluations, and capital planning.

Responsibilities include:

• Act as a liaison with clients, contractors, sub-consultants, and approval agencies;
• Proposal preparation and coordination;
• Management of project finances, invoicing, receivables, timesheets, and record keeping;
• Prepare tender and contract documents supporting design drawings;
• Contract administration;
• Develop and maintain client relationships;
• Manage interactions with stakeholders impacted by the project;
• Prepare and review site inspection reports;
• Track project budgets and schedules;
• Ensure quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC);
• Foster a positive team environment, mentor staff, and address team concerns;
• Other duties as assigned.

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of Building Science-related experience;
• Bachelor of Engineering or Applied Science degree or related field;
• Professional Engineer (P. Eng.), in good standing with PEO;
• Strong time management and organizational skills;
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external clients;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a willingness to learn new systems.
