We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer based out of any of our GTA offices to contribute to the development of GHD's Civil practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with Business Leads and Project Directors on civil design for linear infrastructure
• Managing all aspects of civil design and ensuring project scope and standards are met
• Developing and verifying technical project details
• Ensuring designs adhere to budget and schedule
• Participating in design coordination meetings and addressing critical issues
• Working with engineering teams to facilitate decision-making
• Ensuring client requirements and quality controls are incorporated
• Mentoring junior staff and representing GHD in client meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Professional Engineering (P. Eng) license with PEO
• Minimum 10 years of extensive technical design experience
• Experience with large, multi-discipline projects, especially linear infrastructure
• Experience in a Design Build environment
• Knowledge of local Codes and Standards
• Experience with 3D integrated environments
• Strong team-building and mentoring skills
