Job Description

Senior Civil Engineer Southampton £40,000 - £60,000

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded, multi-discipline engineering and planning consultancy as a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer based in their new Southampton office. You will be a key part of the Infrastructure team with support from the Director in-house, and will also support other teams across the country.

The role:

• You will be the main point of contact for clients and employees regarding Infrastructure design.
• Manage the production of engineering designs for planning applications, detailed designs, and construction of drainage, highways, SuDS, and building drainage for major infrastructure and various developments including residential, retail, industrial, and commercial.
• You will have the opportunity to grow the team, developing engineers, technicians, and apprentices.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in the consultancy/private sector development, particularly with residential development projects.
• Ideally, experience with Highways drainage.
• Personable, a strong team player, with a people-oriented approach, and confident in introducing new ideas.
• Experience in producing technical drawings for tender and construction purposes for infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of drainage strategies and flood risk assessments.
