Job Title : Senior Civil Engineer

Overview :

Skyline Recruitment is representing multiple clients across Ontario seeking experienced Senior Civil Engineers to join their infrastructure or land development teams. These roles are ideal for seasoned professionals ready to lead complex projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with public and private clients.

This is a leadership opportunity in project delivery, team development, and strategic planning with some of the most respected names in consulting engineering.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead design and execution of civil engineering projects in municipal infrastructure, site development, or transportation
• Oversee preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and tender documents
• Provide technical guidance and quality control on designs for grading, stormwater, watermain, sanitary, and roadway systems
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and municipalities
• Serve as Engineer of Record where applicable
• Support business development through proposals, client meetings, and identifying new opportunities
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and designers
• Ensure project budgets, schedules, and deliverables are met
• Stay updated with regulatory requirements, standards, and municipal guidelines

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligible
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management
• Strong expertise in municipal servicing, site grading, stormwater management, and land development
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design tools
• Leadership, mentorship, and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently
