We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for our Southern California Civil team. The role involves leadership, mentoring, and training of less experienced staff, with responsibilities spanning technical, project management, marketing, or business development areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Complete design responsibilities across projects of all sizes.
2. Make major design recommendations and decisions independently.
3. Plan and assign design work to staff.
4. Review junior staff correspondence.
5. Participate actively in quality control of projects.

Technical Path

1. Contribute to leadership within our Technical Operations Team.
2. Analyze technical problems, write reports, and provide advice.
3. Participate in project reviews for quality assurance.
4. Assist in resolving field issues, including site visits.

Project Management Path

1. Serve as Project Manager on large or multiple projects.
2. Identify prospective clients and assist in marketing and proposal development.
3. Develop and maintain client relationships.

Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and mastery of civil engineering technical aspects.
• Ability to mentor and motivate others.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, PE license, minimum 8 years of experience.
• Note: This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $90,000 - $150,000/year, based on experience and location. Benefits include bonuses, stock options, health insurance, wellness programs, retirement plans, paid holidays, and PTO.
