Job summary

WSP in Edmonton seeks a Senior Civil Designer for Land Development to shape communities across Alberta. You will deliver integrated land development solutions balancing growth and municipal expectations, collaborating across disciplines to ensure projects are delivered on time and to high standards.

The role requires 8–10 years of Alberta experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of land development design experience in Alberta and familiarity with municipal processes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; familiarity with ProjectWise, ACC, Procore, or SharePoint is assets.
• Strong analytical and technical skills; Excel for design calculations.
• Experience in field or construction environments is an asset.
• Creative problem solver with exceptional attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliably insured vehicle.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with engineers and interdisciplinary teams.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Contribute to environmentally responsible project planning through thoughtful design approaches.

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 – $118,900

MB & ON: $81,900 – $112,800

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:$81,100 – $107,700
