Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Light Rail CBTC programs to lead the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements through testing and commissioning. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain traceability, safety, and performance while guiding suppliers and partners.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices in systems engineering, and contribute to safety cases and certification activities across major rail projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Systems, Electrical, Control or related engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities across the full project lifecycle for light rail CBTC train control systems.
• Define and manage requirements to ensure full traceability and aligned interfaces across disciplines.
• Develop verification/validation strategies and oversee testing, commissioning, and safety audits.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and ensure quality of design documents.
