Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) or eligibility for registration with the relevant provincial engineering association is preferred.
• Experience in the design and delivery of railway, transit, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with traction power systems, low voltage power distribution, EMI/EMC analysis, grounding and bonding, UPS systems, conduit and cable routing, and electrical layouts.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit or similar design tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and engineering of electrical systems for railway and transit projects across concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, track, signaling, and mechanical disciplines.
• Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Support project delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
