Job summary

Elevate Service Group in Bolton, Ontario is seeking a Category Manager (supply chain) to lead strategic procurement, optimize vendor relationships, and improve inventory availability across our national platform.

The role links field service, OEMs, and distributors to maximize First-Time Fix rates, reduce total cost of ownership, and manage data governance and performance metrics. A Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field and 3–5+ years’ experience are preferred, with ERP and Excel expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain or related field.
• 3–5+ years of category management or procurement experience.
• ERP proficiency (SAP/NetSuite/MS Dynamics) and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytics and data‑driven decision making.
• Experience in industrial distribution, MRO, or commercial foodservice equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee parts replenishment and daily supply execution.
• Utilize FSM to track usage and automate fulfillment.
• Manage daily order fulfillment and emergency field orders.
• Develop logistics strategies to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
• Ensure customs compliance and proper documentation.
• Mentor team and promote collaboration across functions.
• Maintain data integrity in master data records.
• Define and monitor supply chain metrics (FTF rate, PO cycle times).
