Job summary

Bluebird Care Redbridge is seeking a Senior Care Expert to lead and mentor care teams across Redbridge, Epping and the surrounding areas. You will oversee visits, shape care plans, and promote high-quality, person-centred care in home settings.

This full-time role offers flexible hours, £16.50–£20.75 per hour plus paid mileage, and a supportive team environment that rewards leadership and compassion. Your experience can make a real difference in people’s lives.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and your own car – essential for visiting customers across the area.
• At least 1 year of professional care experience – you know what great care looks like, and you deliver it every time.
• A completed NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care – preferred, but if you're ready to step up, we want to hear from you.
• A compassionate, confident, and adaptable personality – someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support new team members, helping them grow while you build your own leadership skills.
• From personal care to promoting independence, you’ll play a key role in helping people live with dignity, comfort, and joy in their own homes.
• Lead with heart: Assist in customer reviews, help shape personalised care plans, and ensure every customer receives outstanding, person-centred support.
• Join the on call support rota and become a trusted source of guidance when it matters most.
