Job summary

Optima Living is seeking a Clinical Lead to supervise and coordinate resident care within an interdisciplinary team. Reporting to the Director of Care, you will assess residents, oversee care plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.

You will lead nursing staff, mentor team members, and collaborate with physicians and families to maintain dignity and independence for residents in a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• Maintain current license to practice from the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Minimum one (1) year recent nursing experience in a senior residential care setting is required.
• Must have CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and guidance during complex situations.
• Coordinates team routines and supports daily operations.
• Ensures care programs align with nursing philosophy and standards of care.
• Oversees medication management for residents.
• Maintains accurate resident health records and documentation.
• Fosters effective teamwork between care providers, physicians, and families.
