Job summary

Optima Living in Vernon, BC is seeking a Clinical Lead to assess, coordinate, supervise, administer and evaluate resident care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will ensure high-quality, person-centered care, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with physicians, care staff, and families to promote resident dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
• Maintain current license to practice from the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Minimum one (1) year recent nursing experience in a senior residential care setting is required.
• Maintains an active CPR and First Aid certification.
• Demonstrates leadership and ability to coordinate a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and guidance during complex or unexpected situations.
• Coordinates care routines and supports daily team operations.
• Ensures care programs align with nursing philosophy and regulatory standards.
• Oversees resident health care records documentation and reporting of changes.
• Promotes person-centered care and effective communication with residents and families.
