Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Administer medications as prescribed, monitor adherence, and report any changes or side effects.
• Engage in meaningful conversations, offer emotional support, and foster a positive environment.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean environment.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and proper techniques.
• Maintain accurate care records and report any health changes or concerns.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients and healthcare team members.
• Adhere to all regulations, policies, and confidentiality standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid BC Care-Aide Registry Number and/or BC HCA Certificate
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination record
• Valid TB clearance certificate
• Two personal and two professional references
• Consent to criminal background check and motor vehicle record check
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (preferred)
• Smartphone for scheduling and reporting
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
