Avery Healthcare in Peterborough, UK, is seeking a warm Senior Care Assistant to join Waterhouse Manor Care Home. You will deliver high standards of personal care with a compassionate, respectful approach, supporting residents, visitors and staff.

Key duties include monitoring residents' wellbeing, assisting with medications, contributing to monthly care plan evaluations, and supporting the care team with supervision and development.

Competenze

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Mansioni

• Deliver high standards of personal care and maintain a safe, caring environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.

• Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
