Salary: £13.15 - £14.72 per hour depending on experience

Working days to include alternate weekends

Role Overview

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead a team of Care Assistants, delivering high-quality, personal care to residents. You will inspire, develop, and nurture your team, work closely with nurses on clinical duties, and ensure the well-being of our residents.

Qualifications and Experience

You will have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care, with previous experience in a similar role. A passion for making a difference and providing dignity and support to residents is essential.

Training and Development

We will provide training on our digital care systems and ongoing professional development to keep you updated with social care developments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing a care unit on a day-to-day basis
2. Supporting clinical duties such as medication administration, care plan reviews, and record keeping
3. Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers
4. Training and supervising new staff members
5. Building relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare teams
6. Assisting residents with personal care duties
