Job summary

A municipal government is looking for a Senior Camp Leader to provide supervision and leadership for children and youth in recreational activities at Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre. Candidates should be post-secondary students or graduates in a recreation or child-related field with necessary certifications. Qualifications

• Post-secondary student or graduate studying in recreation or a child related field.
• Valid current Standard First Aid and C.P.R. certification.
• Valid High Five, Principles of Healthy Child Development certification.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSC).
• Minimum of two years/seasons of experience as a Junior Program Leader or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and leadership for children and youth ages 4-17 years.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of participants.
• Develop, implement, supervise, and evaluate daily activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents.
• Evaluate the overall success of the program and provide feedback.
