Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a senior CAD survey technician to support processing survey data and delivering high-quality project documentation on a major Canadian infrastructure program.

You will create and update CAD drawings (topographic surveys, as-builts, construction layouts) using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation, integrate point clouds, and collaborate with field surveyors and engineers to meet deadlines and standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a CAD survey technician role, OR co-op/internship experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Process survey data collected from total stations, GNSS receivers, and laser scanners.
• Create and update CAD drawings such as topographic surveys and construction layouts.
• Support integration of point cloud data into CAD workflows and develop 3D models.
• Collaborate with field surveyors and engineers to meet design requirements.
• Maintain organized records of survey data and drawings.
• Participate in quality control to meet standards and specifications.
• Assist in improving CAD standards, workflows, and documentation.
• Provide support to survey teams as needed.
