Job summary

ACCIONA in Canada seeks a CAD Survey Technician with 10+ years of experience or relevant co-op/internship to process survey data, produce CAD drawings, and support survey and engineering teams in delivering high-quality project documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years CAD survey technician experience or relevant co-op/internship.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Familiarity with survey data processing tools such as Trimble Business Center.
• Exposure to infrastructure or construction projects is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Process survey data from total stations, GNSS, and laser scanners.
• Create and update CAD drawings such as topographic surveys and as-built plans.
• Support 3D models and point cloud integration for planning and visualization.
• Collaborate with field surveyors and engineers to translate designs into CAD deliverables.
• Maintain organized records and support quality control.
• Assist in improving CAD standards and workflows.
• Provide knowledge sharing and guidance to survey teams.
