Adecco Canada is seeking a Senior CAD Designer for a 3-month contract in Cambridge, Ontario. The role involves designing and enhancing products using CREO CAD software, with opportunities for creative and collaborative problem-solving in a dynamic environment. Adecco is currently seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join their engineering team in Cambridge, Ontario. This is a 3-month contract offering $32 / hour CAD, ideal for a seasoned CAD professional with strong CREO experience and a passion for mechanical design. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex design challenges that directly impact production and innovation.
Pay rate : $32 / hour.
Location : Cambridge, ON
Shifts : Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm

New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities :
Design new products and enhance existing ones using CREO CAD software
Develop and update solid models, machining, and assembly drawings
Evaluate designs for cost efficiency and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (Optical, Thermal, Electrical, Mechanical)
Support production processes and resolve design-related issues
Apply GD&T and machining knowledge in design work
Perform a variety of design and technical tasks
May lead or supervise other designers or team members
Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in design practices Requirements :
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
A college diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field
4-6 years of experience in mechanical design or a related area
Proficiency in CREO CAD software
Strong understanding of GD&T
Knowledge of machining processes
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Ability to lead or direct others
