Job summary

Vancity, headquartered in British Columbia, seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs with technology solutions across digital banking initiatives. You will lead analysis, design, implementation and optimization while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable outcomes.

The role is full-time, temporary, based at the head office with a hybrid work arrangement; on-site participation expected for events and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years in business systems analysis or solution delivery.
• Experience with system integrations and platform implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, backlog management and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements into technical solution designs.
• Review and finalize business requirements and manage product backlog items.
• Own technical solutions and lead end-to-end platform initiatives for digital banking.
• Define non-functional requirements and support testing and deployment.
• Create interface requirements and backlog items for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with architects, vendors and business stakeholders to align designs.
