Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence & Reporting, the Senior BI & Reporting Analyst will provide expertise and support for Canadian Personal Banking Production and Automation Teams. This role involves developing and evolving reporting and BI capabilities, delivering reports, dashboards, scorecards, and insights to inform business decisions.

Job Requirements

• Produce reports, dashboards, and scorecards focusing on product design, customer engagement, account management, and decision-making.
• Experience with enterprise RDBMS, Big Data, Azure Cloud, and ETL processes, with a mature data modeling approach (star-schema).
• Strong programming skills in Databricks, SQL, PySpark.
• Manipulate large, complex data from various sources.
• Implement and improve report automation standards.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate reports and leverage report usage data.
• Provide value-added insights through analysis, visualizations, and interpretation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain documentation for BI processes and deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills, including presenting to senior executives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project lifecycle documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of data governance policies is a plus.
• Stay current with industry best practices and innovative data management and visualization techniques.

Additional Information

Experience in BI and reporting, excellent communication, adherence to policies, and a relevant degree (business, science, engineering, or quantitative discipline) with 5+ years of experience in a financial institution.
