Senior Business Consultant - Capital Markets (Contract)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Consultant with expertise in Capital Markets and a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle across asset classes. This contract role (12 to 24 months) is ideal for those who excel in solving complex challenges at the intersection of business and technology.

Skills and Experience

• 5-7 years as a Business Analyst in Tier 1 or 2 Investment Banks, with experience in large projects and testing.
• Deep knowledge of the Capital Markets trade lifecycle, including client order to reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with traded products such as Equities, Bonds, FX, and Options.
• Understanding of market infrastructure roles, especially in NAM markets.

Responsibilities

• Document activities related to Capital Markets within Nesbitt Burns, covering FX trading, retail notes, collateral management, and more.
• Assess over 300 systems owned by Capital Markets.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with other PODS on related activities.
• Assist in drafting Business Requirements and testing strategies, including creating test cases and tracking results.

Compensation
