Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Architect to lead complex business transformation and operations strategy initiatives for major enterprise clients across industries such as healthcare, consumer goods, energy, and logistics. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business operations and technology, identifying inefficiencies and translating strategic opportunities into actionable requirements for AI-powered solutions. You will lead executive-level discovery sessions, analyse end-to-end value chains, and develop transformation roadmaps that deliver measurable operational improvements. Working alongside Solutions Architects, Data Engineers, and Program Managers, you will independently manage multiple work streams and take ownership of client relationships and project outcomes. This position combines the strategic depth of management consulting with the speed and innovation of AI-enabled transformation. It offers an opportunity to influence enterprise-level decisions, shape next-generation operational systems, and contribute to a high-performance, globally distributed environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Operations Strategy and Value Chain Analysis: Lead the analysis and decomposition of complex, cross-functional business processes, including supply chain, logistics, procurement, and distribution, to identify inefficiencies, structural challenges, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Client Discovery and Executive Engagement: Independently facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions with senior executives and business leaders, building trusted relationships and guiding strategic discussions.
  • Business Requirements Definition: Translate business findings, operational challenges, and transformation opportunities into clear, structured, and actionable requirements for Solutions Architects and Data Engineers.
  • Work Stream Leadership: Own and manage one or more project work streams from initial planning through delivery, taking responsibility for client communication, deliverables, progress reporting, risk identification, and issue escalation.
  • Current-State and Target-State Architecture: Collaborate with technical teams to document existing business processes and systems, define future-state operating models, and develop transformation architectures aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Apply structured problem-solving methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and hypothesis-driven analysis, to validate opportunities and recommend sustainable improvements.
  • Deliverable Development: Produce high-quality consulting deliverables, including process maps, value chain assessments, business cases, opportunity analyses, and use case definitions to support executive decision-making and investment priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Solutions Architects, Data Engineers, and Program Managers to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in technical designs and AI-enabled solutions.
  • AI-Driven Transformation: Identify opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, automation, and intelligent workflows to improve operational efficiency and accelerate business transformation.
  • Team Mentoring and Development: Support and mentor junior Business Analysts and consultants, helping them strengthen their analytical capabilities, facilitate client sessions, and independently manage deliverables and stakeholder relationships.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of consulting methodologies, analytical frameworks, and repeatable approaches that improve delivery quality and accelerate transformation outcomes.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of management consulting experience within a Big Four firm, tier-two consultancy, or leading boutique consulting organisation.
  • Proven experience leading operations strategy, business transformation, process optimisation, or end-to-end value chain transformation engagements, ideally at Senior Manager or Director level.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage senior executive relationships, facilitate strategic workshops, and influence complex business decisions without requiring constant senior supervision.
  • Strong expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and hypothesis-driven problem-solving. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent practical experience is strongly preferred.
  • Extensive experience analysing and transforming end-to-end business processes, understanding how decisions across procurement, logistics, distribution, and operations influence overall financial and commercial performance.
  • Cross-industry and international consulting experience, with the ability to adapt quickly to unfamiliar business environments and apply best practices across different sectors.
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, energy, healthcare, or other operationally complex industries is a strong advantage.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical specialists on data schemas, system integrations, ERP environments, and AI/ML model requirements.
  • Ability to translate complex operational challenges into structured business requirements and technical specifications without necessarily having hands-on software development responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools, large language model (LLM) assistants, and agentic workflows, with the ability to incorporate these technologies into research, analysis, and consulting deliverables.
  • Comfortable working in an AI-native environment and using technology to improve productivity, analytical quality, and delivery speed.
  • Experience working within agile, hypothesis-driven delivery models, with the ability to manage fast-paced project cycles and short transformation engagements, including 12-week programmes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to lead challenging conversations and communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong ownership mentality, strategic thinking, analytical rigour, and the ability to deliver high-quality results independently in a remote environment.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a proactive mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where precision, autonomy, and accountability are essential.
Benefits:
  • Fully Remote Work: Work from anywhere, with the flexibility to manage your schedule and working environment while delivering exceptional results.
  • Competitive Compensation: Receive a competitive compensation package aligned with your experience, expertise, and contribution.
  • Equity Participation: Benefit from equity opportunities and share in the long-term growth and success of the business.
  • Performance-Based Bonuses: Access additional financial rewards linked to performance and business outcomes.
  • Profit Sharing: Benefit from substantial participation in company profits.
  • Global Team Retreats: Take part in immersive, fully funded company retreats in unique destinations, providing opportunities to connect, collaborate, and learn with colleagues worldwide.
  • Professional Autonomy: Enjoy significant ownership over projects, client relationships, and strategic decisions within a high-trust environment.
  • AI-First Work Environment: Work with advanced AI tools and innovative technologies to accelerate consulting delivery and create meaningful business impact.
  • Career Development: Access a clear progression path towards senior executive and C-level leadership opportunities based on performance.
  • High-Performance Culture: Join an international team that values excellence, continuous learning, transparency, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Meaningful Impact: Help transform complex enterprise operations through intelligent systems, automation, and sustainable business improvements.
