Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Transformation Lead based in Canada.

We are looking for an innovative and hands-on AI Transformation Lead to drive the adoption and integration of artificial intelligence across a growing SaaS organization. In this strategic and highly collaborative role, you will identify opportunities to transform business operations through AI-powered workflows, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies. Acting as an internal consultant and builder, you will work closely with teams across all departments to redesign processes and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, and business performance. You will lead AI initiatives from initial discovery and experimentation through implementation, adoption, and long-term optimization. By combining technical expertise with strong change management and communication skills, you will help teams unlock the full potential of AI while maintaining human judgment, data integrity, and customer trust. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to shape the future of an innovative industry within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Identify AI Transformation Opportunities: Assess business operations and workflows across departments to identify high-value opportunities for AI integration, prioritizing initiatives based on their potential impact on productivity, revenue, and business outcomes.
  • Develop AI Transformation Roadmaps: Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap of AI-enabled initiatives, working closely with department leaders and cross-functional AI champions to align transformation projects with organizational objectives.
  • Redesign Business Workflows: Collaborate with teams to rethink existing processes, starting with desired business outcomes and determining the optimal balance between AI capabilities, human judgment, and interpersonal collaboration.
  • Build AI-Powered Solutions: Design, develop, and deploy intelligent workflows and automations using agentic AI systems, AI-native tools, and traditional automation platforms.
  • Lead Experimentation and Implementation: Manage AI initiatives from initial concept and prototyping through pilot testing, deployment, and continuous improvement, ensuring successful experiments become reliable, scalable company-wide solutions.
  • Drive AI Adoption: Develop practical training materials, workshops, job aids, and coaching programs to help employees understand, adopt, and effectively integrate AI tools into their daily responsibilities.
  • Measure Business Impact: Establish performance indicators and reporting frameworks to track automation outcomes, productivity improvements, operational efficiencies, and return on investment from AI technologies and tools.
  • Manage AI Technology Ecosystems: Evaluate and leverage AI platforms and tools, including Claude, Cursor, and embedded AI solutions, to identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement.
  • Establish AI Governance Practices: Define and maintain internal standards and best practices for responsible AI usage, data integrity, information privacy, and secure implementation.
  • Support Organizational Change: Partner with cross-functional leaders to communicate transformation initiatives, encourage employee engagement, overcome adoption challenges, and establish sustainable AI-enabled working practices.
  • Build a Culture of Innovation: Encourage knowledge sharing, experimentation, and continuous learning while helping teams confidently explore new ways of working with artificial intelligence.
Requirements:
  • AI Implementation Experience: Demonstrated experience taking AI or automation initiatives from initial concept to production, with measurable improvements in business performance, efficiency, or productivity.
  • Business Process Transformation: Proven ability to analyze, redesign, and optimize business workflows using AI, automation, and innovative technology solutions.
  • Practical AI Expertise: Hands-on experience with AI tools, agentic workflows, AI platforms, prompt engineering, and agent configuration.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of how AI solutions integrate with business systems, including APIs, data flows, automation platforms, and human-in-the-loop processes.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to translate organizational priorities into actionable AI transformation strategies and structured implementation roadmaps.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience collaborating with department leaders and diverse stakeholders to identify opportunities, coordinate initiatives, and deliver transformation projects.
  • Change Management: Strong understanding of organizational change management, employee enablement, and strategies for driving technology adoption across multiple teams.
  • Analytical and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate AI opportunities based on practical business value, measure outcomes, and distinguish meaningful innovation from technology hype.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, experimenting with emerging technologies, and adapting strategies through iterative execution.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to explain complex AI concepts in accessible terms and support employees with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Independent Working Style: Ability to work autonomously in a remote and asynchronous environment while maintaining strong collaboration, accountability, and team connections.
  • Innovation Mindset: Genuine enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, continuous learning, emerging technologies, and improving how organizations operate.
  • Preferred: Experience establishing internal AI communities of practice, leading change champion networks, or coordinating multi-department technology enablement programs.
  • Location Requirement: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Candidates based in Quebec are not eligible for this particular opportunity.
Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: Annual base compensation ranging from CAD $130,000 to $160,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and skillset. New hires are generally expected to start around the midpoint of the range.
  • Annual Performance Bonus: Opportunity to earn an additional annual bonus of up to 10%, based on company performance.
  • Fully Remote Work: Remote-first working environment with flexibility to work from eligible locations across Canada, excluding Quebec.
  • Health and Dental Coverage: Access to comprehensive healthcare and dental benefits.
  • Healthcare Spending Account: Annual healthcare spending allowance of CAD $1,000.

  • Company-Wide Holiday Closure: Additional time to disconnect through an annual company-wide closure between December 25 and January 1.
  • Professional Development: Opportunities to learn, experiment with emerging technologies, and contribute to innovative AI transformation initiatives.
  • Company-Wide Summits: Two in-person company gatherings each year, providing opportunities for collaboration, networking, and team connection.
  • Collaborative Remote Culture: Join a supportive, community-driven team that values creativity, innovation, transparency, and meaningful professional relationships.
  • Career Growth: Opportunity to take ownership of a strategic transformation function and influence the future of AI adoption across an entire organization.
