Job summary

GTT is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a regulatory and technology transformation within Personal Banking. The ideal candidate brings banking-domain knowledge and strong requirements, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Regulatory initiatives such as AML, FATCA, and KYC are strongly preferred. The role requires experience across regulatory and technology programs, with hybrid delivery experience and collaboration with Product, Operations and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 7 years of Business Analysis experience, ideally within Canadian banking or financial services.
• Experience with regulatory or compliance initiatives.
• Experience with AML, FATCA, KYC, Bank Act or related financial-services regulation.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into clear requirements for technology teams.
• Analyze existing banking processes, systems and controls to identify required changes and gaps.
• Support projects through the full delivery lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing and implementation.
• Develop process flows, business rules, use cases, acceptance criteria and other project artifacts.
• Partner with Product, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk and Legal stakeholders.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Review test scenarios and support UAT to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Identify dependencies, risks and issues and proactively drive them through resolution.

Experience with regulatory initiatives such as AML, FATCA, KYC or Bank Act-related compliance is strongly preferred.

• Experience with AML, FATCA, KYC, Bank Act or related financial-services regulation.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience within a major Canadian bank.
• Experience with regulatory remediation or mandatory-change programs.
• Familiarity with personal deposit, account-opening, servicing or customer-information platforms.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Personal Banking products, processes and customer journeys.
