Job summary

MatchBox Consulting Group is urgently seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 12-month contract in the Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency program. The role is hybrid, with 2 days on site in New Westminster and 3 days remote, reporting to the Program Manager and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The Senior BA will lead requirements elicitation, map current and future processes, support planning and testing, and contribute to change management and training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus formal business analysis training (or equivalent).
• 10+ years leading business analysis on large, complex system implementations (on-prem and SaaS).
• Strong SDLC and systems implementation background.
• Understanding of data center, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience conducting current-state assessments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Experience leading BA teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project.
• Skilled at translating business needs into system requirements and process improvements.
• Experience developing KPIs to measure process performance.

Responsibilities

Senior Business Analyst (Contractor) - Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program

Provide senior business analysis support for a cybersecurity and IT resiliency program, working closely with the Program Manager and cross-functional teams. May also contribute to solution design, testing, training, and change management.

Core Responsibilities

• Identify and document business problems, risks, and objectives
• Lead workshops/interviews to gather and analyze requirements
• Translate requirements into detailed functional/technical specifications
• Map current (as-is) and future (to-be) business processes
• Support project planning: WBS, RAID logs, status reporting
• Develop test strategy, test plans, and test scripts; support UAT
• Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix
• Prepare change management materials and training content
• Lead or support training delivery for end-users and admins
