• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years in technical business analysis, including 3+ years on cloud migration projects.
• Experience with software or system replacement projects in complex enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Waterfall delivery; Agile experience is an asset.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint or Confluence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

Technical Business Analyst – Cloud Migration ( 6- Month Contract)

Overview

Support a cloud migration project by defining, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements for moving applications from on-premises to the cloud. Work closely with technical teams, consultants, and business stakeholders, following the organization's project management methodology. Contribute to testing, training, and change management to ensure full adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements through workshops, interviews, and document reviews
• Create requirements documents, user stories, use cases, and process flows
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs
• Analyze application integrations, data flows, and dependencies; support data migration
• Support project planning, scope, risk, and issue management
• Develop test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing
• Act as the liaison between business units, vendors, and IT teams
• Communicate status, risks, and impacts to stakeholders
• Support training, documentation, and user adoption

• Requirements documentation and traceability matrices

• Fit-gap analyses and impact assessments
• RACI matrices and decision analyses

• Test plans, cases, and scripts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with business analyst training, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of technical business analysis experience, including 3+ years on cloud migration projects
• Experience with software or system replacement projects in complex enterprise environments
• Familiarity with Waterfall delivery (Agile experience is an asset)
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint or Confluence
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment

• Knowledge of Azure Migrate and Dr. Migrate
