What You Bring

  • The Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support (both quantitative and qualitative) to TELUS consultants and managers. This role is a critical part of the team as it has primary responsibility for data modeling and benchmarking analysis under direct supervision.
  • You have an educational background and/or experience in compensation, total rewards, and human resources, and use your knowledge to reinforce the design, education, and facilitation of compensation programs that support the constantly changing needs of our business landscape.

Impact and Responsibilities

You will work as a trusted P&C partner to provide support on compensation policies and programs, using rigorous analytics and market best practices to solve business challenges. You will:

  • Conduct compensation and financial modeling and benchmarking using Excel/Google Sheets
  • Participate in the annual market review process and salary surveys
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management
  • Research compensation trends and practices using internal and external resources
  • Support annual compensation practices and other initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least two years of experience in a compensation or P&C role
  • Experience with compensation, total rewards, benefits, pensions, and year-end processes in a large organization
  • Strong data analysis skills, proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments
