What you’ll be doing

As a member within the Communication Team in Wealth Management Operations, you will support the production and delivery of client statements for brokerage and non-brokerage accounts while maintaining compliance with internal controls and procedures. The Senior Business Analyst is a seasoned expert responsible for conducting highly specialized research, and providing analysis to senior management that addresses the high impact business needs of internal and external clients. The role exercises considerable judgement in overseeing change initiatives, business analysis, and user needs analysis to develop project plans and inform leadership of progress. The Senior Business Analyst uses deep knowledge in their field of expertise to support projects as a subject matter expert, identifying problems and resolutions, and assessing the impact of proposed changes. In addition, the role facilitates client meetings and takes ownership of activities to ensure client needs are met or exceeded. The role often operates in ambiguous situations and provides innovative, original ideas, accountable to broadly defined policy objectives. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.

How you’ll succeed
  • Client-Focused - Escalate to banking Centre employees all issues that may impact the ongoing client relationship. Develop strong relationships with banking Centre employees to build sustained confidence in order to improve the overall client experience during what could be a very difficult and sensitive time in the client’s life.

  • Relationship/Vendor Building - Establish and nurture strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and effective delivery of services. Act as a liaison to resolve issues, negotiate solutions, and foster long‑term partnerships that support business objectives.
  • Project Management - Lead and support project initiatives by developing project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, manage resources, and adapt to changing priorities to achieve project goals and drive continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Adherence - Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Maintain accurate documentation, monitor compliance risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to safeguard the organization and its clients.
