Job summary

Vantix Systems Inc. in Edmonton, AB seeks a Senior Business Analyst to support a major ERP/EAM replacement program on a hybrid contract (2 days onsite per week).

You will lead requirements workshops, document current and future processes, support data migration planning, and partner with HR, Finance, and Supply Chain teams through discovery, design, and end-to-end delivery. This role requires 10+ years IT experience and 5+ years as a BA, with Oracle Fusion or IBM Maximo experience preferred.

Job description

Our Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) replacement program. This is a contract role based in Edmonton, AB, working hybrid (2 days onsite per week), supporting discovery/design activities and end-to-end program delivery.

What you’ll do

• Lead and facilitate requirements workshops; document current/future-state processes and best-practice requirements
• Support systems development/integration/implementation activities across the program lifecycle
• Contribute to data migration planning (data requirements, mapping, documenting data integration flows)
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders across areas like HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Asset/Work Management
• Support QA/testing phases and help drive stakeholder readiness and knowledge transfer

Must-have qualifications

• 10+ years professional experience in Information Technology
• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
• Demonstrated experience across full project lifecycle (design → configuration/development → testing → implementation) on large-scale ERP/EAM and/or billing transformation initiatives
• 3+ years experience with Oracle Fusion and/or 3+ years experience with IBM Maximo (SaaS)
• Strong written/oral communication and ability to build effective working relationships
• Ability to lead small–medium working groups and maintain program documentation
• Comfortable with data analysis and basic database query tools

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM
• Flexibility to take on a mix of BA + QA/testing work
