The Client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support complex system modernization projects by engaging stakeholders, analyzing legacy systems, and transforming public sector solutions.

Job Title:Senior Business Analyst

Job Location:Toronto, ON/Hybrid

Job Description:

Must Haves:

· Proven experience gathering and analyzing business and IT requirements

· Strong estimating skills for both new features and enhancements

· Deep knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative)

· Expertise in UML, business object-oriented modeling, and documentation tools

· Experience working with complex mainframe/mid-tier environments and legacy system transformations

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs, document system requirements, and provide detailed estimates. Facilitate sprints, manage product backlogs, conduct feasibility analysis, and support legacy system transformations using COTS solutions like Oracle Siebel. Deliver key artifacts including business process models, user stories, interface mockups, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with government standards, including AODA and Digital Service guidelines, while supporting end-to-end solution delivery. Provide guidance on user experience design, accessibility, and digital-first strategies.
