Business Analyst Role
- Business Analysis: Evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to each North America plant and all suppliers on a monthly basis.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of business requirements and project goals.
- Project Management: Lead the analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and process improvement targets.
- Change Management: Define the business case for change, assess the impact of changes, and document requirements to ensure successful implementation. Create and maintain supplier SOP manual.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior analysts, delegate tasks, and oversee the project’s analysis phase.
- Testing and Validation: Participate in the testing phase of new systems or modifications to ensure they meet business needs and expectations.
- Reporting and Communication: Monitor and manage the supplier relations portal and mailbox. Prepare reports on logistics performance, communicate findings and recommendations to management, and collaborate with other departments to implement changes.
- Training: Provide training for suppliers, plants (Production and Service Parts), and other internal company users on all aspects of the Supplier Relations Portal. Review and update portal documentation regularly.
- Technology Implementation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve logistics operations, such as WMS, TMS, and data analytics tools.
- Implementation Planning: Develop comprehensive implementation plans, including timelines, resources, milestones, and create a supplier portal ownership plan with a RACI matrix.
The annual salary for this role ranges from $72,750 to $106,700. Actual salaries will vary based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of Business Analyst experience in a relevant industry.
- 3+ years of experience with statistical analysis and/or data analytics.
- 3+ years of customer interaction experience, both internal and external.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Flexible hours to support global interactions as needed.
