Job summary

eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to translate business needs into practical technology solutions across Saskatchewan's health care delivery. About The Role

The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in transforming business needs into practical technology solutions that support health care delivery across Saskatchewan. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will lead business analysis activities, drive process improvements, and help deliver solutions that align with organizational priorities and enterprise architecture standards.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who enjoys solving complex problems, leading change initiatives, and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups to achieve impactful results.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Manager, Referral Services Operations, you will:

  • Lead business analysis activities for projects and operational initiatives, from concept through implementation.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions to gather, analyze and document business requirements.
  • Conduct business process reviews, feasibility studies and business case development to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives, operational needs and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends and leading practices to support continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and maintain requirements documentation, process models, test plans and other project artifacts.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by building consensus, managing stakeholder expectations and promoting successful adoption of new solutions.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within an integrated support environment.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design techniques.
  • Proven documentation, interpersonal, and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable strategies as well as lead, develop, and manage effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present ideas and recommendations to clinical and IT professionals.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management and Change Management concepts.
  • Experience working with software testing methodologies.
  • IIBA CBAP certification or project management certification would be considered assets.

Organizational: Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize competing activities, manage stakeholder expectations, and consistently deliver high-quality work within established timelines.

Analytical: Ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize business, technical, and operational information to support decision-making, process improvement, and solution development.

Technical: Ability to develop base testing criteria; analyze the implications of proposed changes; integrating various system changes with changes to procedures. Current knowledge of emerging methods, procedures, tools, technology, and techniques within the industry.
