LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Business Analyst, HRIS for a permanent position with its customer in the Ottawa/Gatineau Region.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze HCM system requirements.
• Design and configure HCM application modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Talent Management.
• Act as a subject matter expert on HCM system capabilities, best practices, and configurations.
• Lead system implementations, upgrades, and integrations with third-party applications.
• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on system customizations and enhancements.
• Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Perform system testing, including creating test cases and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support for complex escalated issues
• Analyze data and generate reports to support business decision-making.
• Stay up-to-date with UKG product releases and industry best practices.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in HCM systems realm.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with UKG Pro/UltiPro or other leading toolset such as workday, success factors, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with HR processes, including Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Talent Management.

Qualifications

• Experience with system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, UKG Analytics).
