Reporting to the Leader, Project Delivery, as the Senior Buildings Architect, you will deliver vertical infrastructure projects with high levels of complexity and project values in range of approximately $50M - $200M such as recreation facilities, firehalls, operations facilities, libraries, mixed-use sites and other important City infrastructure. You will manage the design, construction, and closeout of these complex capital projects that can entail new buildings, additions, or major renovations. Close coordination with business units and service lines across the corporation to ensure successful delivery of projects will be required. As a Registered Architect in the Buildings and Architecture division, you will also support a team of internal building engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver expertise on City of Calgary projects, including involvement with early project development phases.
