Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Building Operator in Saskatoon to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. You will perform rounds, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, relevant licenses, and ability to work on-site with occasional shifts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial properties.
• Appropriate trade license or permit as required (Journeyman/Master Electrician, etc.).
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Basic computing skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of energy management systems and building operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance per Cushman & Wakefield standards.
• Inspect engine room, electrical rooms, cooling towers, and back-up generators.
• Repair fixtures, doors, ceilings, floors and signage as needed.
• Monitor energy management and ensure safety compliance.
