The Town of Whitby is seeking a Senior Building Inspector to perform legislated inspections under the Ontario Building Code and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and by-laws. You will report to the Supervisor of Building Inspections and inspect Part 9 and Part 3 buildings while coordinating with multiple departments and external agencies.
We offer a hybrid/mobile hybrid work arrangement, a salary range of $42.66-$53.38 hourly, and a 35-hour work week with a flexible schedule.

Reporting to, and under the direction of, the Supervisor of Building Inspections, the Senior Building Inspector is responsible for performing legislated building inspections required by the Ontario Building Code while ensuring compliance with all applicable Laws, Town By-laws and the Ontario Building Code.
