Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager and Technical Lead within its Building Sciences team in Ontario to lead restoration and rehabilitation of existing buildings. You will drive technical quality and manage cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects from assessment through construction.

This role requires 8+ years of building sciences experience, an Ontario P.Eng., strong writing and communication skills, and a commitment to client outcomes, safety, and excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in building sciences, restoration, or envelope projects in Ontario.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
• Strong project management, scope/schedule/budget control, and client relationships.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, and mentoring skills; willingness to travel within Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Lead building condition assessments and rehabilitation projects across portfolios.
• Provide technical leadership on complex envelope restoration projects including masonry, glazing, roofing, and waterproofing.
• Establish methodologies, design criteria, and quality standards for project success.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams through investigation, design, tendering, construction review, and closeout.
• Advise clients on risk, restoration strategies, and practical recommendations.
• Mentor junior professionals through technical reviews and site visits.
