BPA in Montréal is seeking an experienced Building Electrical Engineer to lead design, analysis and verification of electrical systems for diverse building projects.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers and clients, conduct site surveys, prepare technical documentation and support on-site supervision to ensure design intent and high quality outcomes. Fluent French and strong English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
• 4–10+ years of relevant experience in building electrical systems.
• Fluent in French; functional to advanced English.
• Versatility, autonomy, good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate the design, analysis, and verification of electrical systems for building projects.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and clients to develop tailored, practical solutions.
• Conduct site surveys and assess existing installations to develop optimized system upgrades.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications with accuracy and professionalism.
• Support construction supervision and field coordination to ensure design intent is achieved.
• Participate in budget estimation and cost analysis for electrical scopes.
