Job summary

BPA in Montréal is seeking an experienced Building Electrical Engineer to lead design, analysis and verification of electrical systems for diverse building projects.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers and clients, conduct site surveys, prepare technical documentation and support on-site supervision to ensure design intent and high quality outcomes. Fluent French and strong English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
• 4–10+ years of relevant experience in building electrical systems.
• Fluent in French; functional to advanced English.
• Versatility, autonomy, good communication skills.

Job Summary

Join a strong and established building electrical engineering team of more than 50 professionals based in Montréal. You will be joining the team led by Marie- Pier Ste-Croix Marquis, recently appointed Director of Electrical Engineering, who brings more than 15 years of experience at BPA and succeeds the former Director of Electrical Engineering in their transition to a pan Canadian Vice President, Electrical role.

This role is ideal for someone who has the experience and interest to share knowledge, grow and develop him/herself and the team, with advance technical expertise, and lead impactful projects of varying scale, including new construction, full project lifecycle delivery, and major mandates supported by BPA’s in house experts.

Depending on interest and experience, the position offers opportunities in team leadership, people management, mentorship, or deep technical expertise.

Your main responsibilities
