Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer / Project Manager to join the Ontario Bridge Team, based in London or Mississauga. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee design, inspections, cost estimates, tender documentation, and construction support for transportation structures including bridges and retaining walls.

The role emphasizes client relationship building, thought leadership, and mentoring junior staff, with opportunities to influence project delivery and pursue design-build/PPP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
• 10–20+ years in bridge engineering with 5+ years in Ontario transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of transportation structure projects, including bridges and retaining walls.
• Oversee inspections, rehabilitation design, cost estimates, and report preparation.
• Manage design schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Build long-term client relationships and provide strategic input.
• Drive proposals and contribute to Future Ready initiatives.
• Mentor junior staff and foster collaboration.
