Job summary

Lassonde Industries Inc. in Rougemont, Canada, is seeking a senior marketing leader to define and drive the Away From Home brand and product portfolio strategy across B2B brands and private label opportunities.

You will transform divisional priorities into annual strategic plans, lead lifecycle management, and guide cross-functional teams through concept to launch, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • 7–10 years of marketing experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Experience in B2B marketing environments.
  • Experience in the foodservice/beverage/manufacturing/CPG industries is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of distributor/broker/private label business models is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Translate divisional priorities into the annual North American Away From Home strategic plan.
  • Own the portfolio strategy and lifecycle management for North American B2B brands and private label products.
  • Develop and execute B2B brand strategies, annual brand plans, positioning, and packaging initiatives to strengthen brand equity.
  • Lead the B2B innovation agenda from concept to launch and post-launch review.
  • Define marketing and communication priorities to support business growth and customer engagement.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget and business cases; drive cross-functional leadership.

Job description

Reporting to the Director Marketing, Away From Home, the successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading the Away From Home brand and product portfolio strategy across dedicated B2B brands, relevant business unit-managed brand applications, and private label opportunities.

The incumbent will contribute to driving and accelerating portfolio growth through brand development, lifecycle management, strategic innovation input, digital communications, and customer-focused content creation, while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key activities
  • Translate divisional priorities into the annual North American Away From Home strategic plan.
  • Own the portfolio strategy and lifecycle management for North American B2B brands and private label products.
  • Develop and execute B2B brand strategies, annual brand plans, positioning, and packaging initiatives to strengthen brand equity.
  • Lead the B2B innovation agenda with cross-functional stakeholders, providing strategic leadership from concept development and validation through commercialization, launch execution, and post-launch performance assessment.
  • Define B2B marketing and communication priorities to support business growth and customer engagement.
  • Leverage consumer, customer, and market insights to identify trends, growth opportunities, and actionable business recommendations.
  • Develop sales tools, customer marketing materials, digital content, and communications.
  • Monitor and analyze brand, innovation, and digital performance to optimize business results.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Lead the development and management of marketing budgets, business cases, and project priorities.
  • Build and manage partnerships with agencies, distributors, and other external partners.
  • Build, mobilize, and develop a high-performing B2B marketing team, including the Product & Digital Manager and Customer Marketing Manager.
Required training and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 7 to 10 years of marketing experience within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Experience in B2B marketing environments.
  • Experience in the foodservice, beverage, food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, ingredients, or related industries is considered a strong asset.
  • Understanding of distributor, broker, foodservice, retail, and private label business models is considered an asset.
