Job summary

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP is seeking a Senior Billing Coordinator to support all phases of client billing, from prebills to eBills, with a focus on accuracy and timely resolution. The role involves training team members, reporting to management, and acting as a billing SME across the firm.

A hybrid work arrangement is in place with some in-office presence required. The ideal candidate will have a university/college degree in business with accounting courses and at least three years of billing

Qualifications

• University or college degree in business with accounting/finance courses.
• Minimum 3 years of billing, finance or accounting experience, preferably legal billing.
• Experience with Aderant, Pre-Bill Viewer, eBilling Hub or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Review prebills and work with Partners to issue bills and eBills.
• Track and resolve billing delays or issues; respond to inquiries.
• Provide regular management reporting on billing progress.
• Create training materials and share insights with the team.
• Participate in billing process improvements and system tests.
• Provide backup support for other Billing Team members.
• Offer technical billing support to stakeholders and serve as SME.
• Maintain accurate client and matter records for future billing.
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and firm policies.
• Train timekeepers and assistants on billing tools.
• Coordinate inquiries with relevant internal teams.
