Synechron is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop and optimize enterprise dashboards and reports. The role requires strong SQL, data warehousing and data modeling skills, plus scripting and REST API familiarity to support automation and DevOps practices.

The position anticipates collaboration with business stakeholders, agile delivery, and hybrid work in Mississauga. Candidates should have 8+ years of BI experience and a solid grasp of financial products and analytics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, BI, analytics and reporting.
• 3+ years with relational and OLAP data modeling.
• Proficient in SQL including optimization and design.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income, Equity, and Derivatives concepts are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Utilize Power Query and Power Pivot for efficient data models.
• Develop and optimize DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Create and manage Paginated Reports using Power BI Report Builder.
• Query SQL Server and other relational databases for data extraction and analysis.
• Support automation with scripting and REST API integrations.
• Assist deployment using Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot data issues and ensure system reliability.
• Participate in full project lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
